The manufacturer Alienware stands for high-quality manufactured gaming notebooks in the upper price segment. Depending upon range of application the devices are available in different sizes, most common are thereby the model rows Alienware 15 and 17.

The Alienware 15 series convinces with its light and compact design. So if you like to play on the go, you should choose a model from this series. 

The 17 inch model is significantly heavier and more unwieldy, so the devices are more likely to be used as a stationary replacement for desktop PCs. However, the larger and more expensive the model, the more power is contained in the case. The 17 inch series is therefore also suitable for particularly performance-intensive games.

The company has its origins in the USA, where it was founded in 1996 by Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila. From the very beginning Alienware specialized in the production of high class gaming notebooks and has established itself strongly in this area in the last years. In 2006 Dell bought the manufacturer, but the products are still sold under the name Alienware.
