The FrostCap functions are set via the associated HP OMEN Command Center, in which other settings can also be made, such as controlling the RGB lighting of the headset or creating your own equalizer profiles in the integrated OMEN Audio Lab powered by C-Media Xear. The headset's 7.1 virtual surround sound audio chip creates a spatially precise and realistic sound environment and significantly improves the ability to precisely localize sounds. Dual microphones with noise cancelling, flip-to-mute and on-ear volume control round off the successful overall package.
