Can I install a dc-connector with cable yourself?

The combination of dc-connector and cable has the advantage that the socket does not have to be soldered to the mainboard itself. All you have to do is unscrew the notebook cover and insert the plug of the dc-connector into the mainboard. Despite the low effort, you should be very careful not to accidentally damage your notebook.

If you prefer to have the dc-connector installed by a professional, you can send the defective notebook to us and we will repair it for you.
